Fiji Banded Leguan (Virkad)

I’ve crocheted plenty of amigurumi, but this iguana pattern really held my hand through every step with its 40+ photos. The 8 pages are laid out so clearly that even the tail shaping felt easy. Finished mine in a weekend and the little guy looks just like the real Fiji banded iguana.

The picture guides are a lifesaver—I’ve made three iguanas already and each one turned out more lifelike than the last. Eight pages might sound short, but every step is broken down so clearly that even my first attempt looked like the real thing.

The step-by-step photos made this crochet pattern so easy to follow, even with all the color changes on the banded tail. Each of the 40-plus pictures lined up perfectly with the written instructions, and my iguana came out looking just like the listing photo.
