Fair Isle-julstrumpa (stickning)

The stranded colorwork chart is laid out so clearly that even my second attempt at a heel flap came out tidy. Knitting this from the cuff down felt meditative, and the worsted weight worked up faster than I expected for such a detailed pattern.

I’ve made three stockings now and the stranded colorwork finally clicks because the pattern explains the float management so well. The cuff-to-toe structure kept me motivated through the heel, which I usually dread. Definitely a keeper for my holiday knitting list.
