The little pastel flecks of blue, pink, and yellow are even prettier in person, and the #3 yarn feels incredibly soft when I lay my cheek against it. Tossed it in the washer after a spit-up incident and it came out looking brand new, which is a huge relief for a new parent.
I was nervous about washing a handmade blanket, but this one came out of the dryer soft and perfectly intact with the pastel colors still bright. The #3 lightweight yarn really is gentle—my newborn sleeps with it draped over her legs every afternoon.
