Made this for my niece's baby shower and the medium weight yarn worked up quicker than I expected, finished in two evenings. The little penguin face gets so many compliments, and the pattern was clear enough for a beginner like me.
The little penguin turned out so stinking cute that I almost didn’t want to gift it. The medium weight yarn gave it just the right squish, and the instructions for the stacking rings were clear enough for a beginner like me.
The little penguin turned out so cute, and the medium weight yarn made the crochet rounds work up nice and even. Took me a few evenings but the stacking rings are sturdy enough that my niece can actually play with it, not just look at it.
