Manteau Petit Pois pour Tout-Petit (Crochet)

The crochet stitchwork gives it a lovely handmade feel while still looking sharp enough for holiday photos. My son wore it over a sweater and the double row of buttons kept everything snug without bunching up. He actually asked to wear it again the next day, which never happens.

The double-breasted front lays flat and looks surprisingly polished for a crochet piece. My son wore it to a family dinner and got compliments all night, plus it kept him warm in the car on the way home.

The two rows of buttons are exactly like a real pea coat, and the double-breasted front stays put even when my daughter runs around. It's crocheted snug enough to keep the winter chill out but still gives her room to move.
