Cardigan Bébé Simple (Tricot)

Knit this up for my niece's newborn in two evenings—the open-front design means no fiddly buttons to wrestle with during diaper changes. Instructions for the preemie through 6m sizing are laid out so clearly that I didn't have to rip back a single row.

I’ve made three of these now, and the preemie size fits perfectly on a 5-pound doll, though the 3m runs a bit roomy like the open-front design intends. The knit and purl pattern is straightforward enough that I finished one while binge-watching a show, and the increase rows for the sleeves were easy
