Jokinuolen lasinalunen (virkkaus)

I’ve crocheted a lot of coasters, but this pattern uses so little yarn—just 26 yards—that I made three in one evening. The finished size and stitch definition are perfectly neat, and it lays flat without any curling. This one’s going straight into my gift pile.

The stitch pattern gives it a lovely arrow detail that stands out on the table, and the yarn feels sturdy enough for daily use. Mine came out perfectly flat with just the 26 yards mentioned, so one skein really does stretch to nine coasters.

The Yosemite colorway is this gorgeous, rich earth tone that photographs way better than I expected. I used it for a gift and was honestly surprised how quickly the pattern worked up—26 yards is no joke, I got nine out of one skein easily.
