Watching the stripes spiral out from the center was half the fun—each round of the Basic Moss Stitch revealed a new color without a single yarn change. It drapes over my baby’s lap just right, and the texture is soft enough for her to rub against her cheek.

The soft, flowing texture from the moss stitch is exactly what I wanted for my baby—it drapes beautifully and isn’t stiff at all. I love how the center-start construction makes the stripes radiate outward in a way that feels almost hypnotic to watch.
