Working this up in the round was so satisfying—the stitch repeat kept my hands busy without me having to count obsessively, and it grew fast enough that I finished the blanket in just a few lazy evenings. The texture is lovely and squishy, exactly what I wanted for a baby gift.

I'm usually a crochet pattern collector who gets bored halfway through, but this one had me finishing in a weekend. Working in the round with that repeating stitch made it mindless in the best way, and the texture looks way more intricate than the effort it took.
